HOW TO QUALIFY
To qualify a student should pass all the examinations conducted by the institute. The industrial training certificates and project works etc are to be submitted.

Consultants to the tea industry in various functional areas of tea, Senior planters having research and consultancy expertise. Professors and Heads of departments of Universities, Senior executives of tea companies, Luminaries of the corporate world in tea and other spheres. Nationally and internationally reputed scientists, educationists, eminent guest lecturers form the faculty of the institute.

 

ELIGIBILITY Graduate or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized university in India or abroad with good academic record. Candidate should possess good physiques and be proficient in English.

AGE LIMIT
Should not be more than 25 years. No age bar for in service/sponsored candidates. Should be physically and mentally fit. The age bar may be relaxed for deserving candidates.

CLASS HOURS
From 11:00 A.M.. to 1:00 P.M. and 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. ( Subject to change in exigencies)

ADMISSION
Application materials can be collected in person or by mail/courier from Kolkata at the following address, on payment of required amount either in Cash/Pay order/Demand Draft, payable at Kolkata favouring " DIPRAS INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES". Candidates must take Money Receipts for the amounts so paid. Such Receipts should be retained for any future reference, without which no claim/enquiries will be entertained. PAYMENTS BY CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Xerox copies of the testimonials along with the filled in appli cation forms should reach the institute's office on or before the due date as specified by the institute. which has to be procured by the candidate from thr institute. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained unless there are genuine reasons subject to the discretion of the institute's Management On receipt of the filled in application from DIPS will issue a test intimation Memo to the candidate giving date, time of tests, interview and selection.

PAYMENTS
Selected candidates are required to pay either in Cash/ Payorder/ Demand Draft, PAYABLE AT KOLKATA favouring "DIPRAS INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES" within the stipulated date, towards the Admission Fees, Course Fees. other relevant charges, deposits etc. at KOLKATA. Money Receipts must be taken by the students and produced for all enquiries and future references. Payments once accepted, are not transferable and will not be refunded under any circumstances. Students must make payments of fees within the stipulated time period.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Payments in Indian Rupees (INR) are accepted.
2. Payment may be paid in cash.
3. Payment may be made through pay-orders, banker's cheque, demand drafts favouring "DIPS" or "DIPRAS INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES payable at KOLKATA.
4. Payment by cheque will not be accepted,
5. Monthly installments of course fees must be paid within 1st to 4th of every consecutive month between 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm or any other time specified for the purpose. No reminders will be issued to the defaulting candidates.
6. Late fees @ INR 50 (RUPEES FIFTY ONLY) will be levied per each day of default from 5th day of the defaulting month.
7. A student will be debarred from attending classes if the default in payment of fees continues for more than 25 days and is liable to be expelled from the institute. without any intimation.
8. Fees must be paid in advance before vacations and off-campus training (Garden visits) Foreign country candidates and sponsored candidates have to pay for the entire course fees at the time of admission. Foreign country candidates will have to abide by the INDIAN LAWS as applicable from time to time.

CATEGORY A : Science stream candidates.
CATEGORY B : General stream candidates.
CATEGORY C : a) Sponsored candidates and b) Foreign country candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the performance in selection tests. The selection test will comprise of a written test on General English and other subjects followed by personal Interview.
Please note that for the admission tests, the applicants must reach their chosen test centers at their own cost. Selections through admission may be waived for some candidates at the discretion of the institute's management-
Students, having throughout English medium background, securing 50% marks in graduation are eligible for direct admission at the discretion of the institute's management.
Students must submit the filled in application form, available with the application materials (stated herein above) within the specified date.
Three postage size colour photographs are required to be submitted along with the application form. On receipt of the filled in application form, DIPS will issue lest Intimation memo giving date. time, venue of test and interview to students. Successful candidates will be directly intimated through courier/
post by the institute.

List of successful candidates will also be put up on institute's notice board. After selection, candidates have to take admission on payment of the requisite fees within the specified date and time, in terms with | the procedure mentioned herein.
Students paying the course fees in installments should pay their installments as specified in the schedule

ACCOMMODATION AT KOLKATA
The institute, if so desired by the candidate may assist in securing shared accommodation at Kolkata, on actual basis, which may vary between INR 3000-3500 per month (Food & Lodging). The institute accepts no liability in any manner whatsoever for accommodation so arranged. Students willing to get accommodation assistance must intimate in writing to the Principal & Secretary at the time of admission, depositing three months advance in cash with the institute's office. Only after receipt of application along with the advance of 03(Three)months , the institute will entertain such request.
LIBRARY
The institute has an impressive collection of books on ail subjects relevant to the course.

LABORATORY
The laboratory is equipped with the machines and instruments required for the course. Analysis of Tea plants, Soil. Water are being done by the students who are guided by eminent scientists, experts who form the members of the faculty of the institute
